COVID-19 Precautions

ACAPC is very concerned with keeping you and your families safe during this event and have worked with LOPC to find ways to stay within the current guidelines for COVID safety according to the CDC and Contra Costa County Dept. of Health.

1. Only 8 families will be assigned to the parking lot at any one time. The parking spaces will be set at least 30 feet apart to ensure plenty of social distancing.  

2. Entrance and exit areas will be clearly marked and kept separate via cones. Entrance times will be spaced by 10 minutes, so families have time to exit safely before the next batch of participants arrive. Lines will be marked 6 feet apart to guide participants where to stand upon checking into event.

3. Participants will be required to wear masks upon entrance to the event and until they arrive at their assigned space. Masks can be removed while in the assigned parking space area, but must be worn whenever that area is exited.

4. All participants will be required to remain 6 feet apart from other individuals outside of their own party while outside of their assigned space area. Socializing/gathering amongst participants outside of their own family/party is discouraged.

5. Hand Sanitizing stations will be available.

6. Pre-packaged bags of candy, chalk and any purchased items will be available for no-contact pickup during check in.

7. Bathroom access will be available with only one person/family allowed in at a time. A volunteer will monitor the area and make sure hard surfaces are wiped down every 30 minutes.
